After a long gap without major product launches, Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) Pvt. Ltd. is preparing to expand its motorcycle portfolio in the Indian market. The company, which serves as the official distributor for brands including Benelli, Keeway, Moto Morini, Zontes, and QJMotor, recently shared its future product strategy through Managing Director Vikas Jhabakh.
Benelli to Kick Off the New Launches
According to Vikas Jhabakh, Benelli remains AARI’s flagship brand and will lead the company’s upcoming product launches. He confirmed that a new Benelli motorcycle is currently undergoing the homologation process and is expected to be introduced in India before the end of this year.
The company also plans to launch one new Benelli model every year for the next three years, while simultaneously working on expanding the Keeway and Moto Morini portfolios.
Benelli TNT600i Not Making a Comeback
Although AARI has not revealed the identity of the upcoming Benelli motorcycle, Jhabakh confirmed that the popular Benelli TNT600i is unlikely to return. He explained that the motorcycle does not comply with the latest emission regulations and E20 fuel standards, and bringing it up to current requirements would require extensive engineering, testing, and investment.
At present, Benelli’s Indian lineup consists of four motorcycles based on the 502cc parallel-twin engine platform:
- Leoncino
- 502C
- TRK 502
- TRK 502X
Keeway and Moto Morini Lineups to Expand
AARI has also indicated that Keeway will soon strengthen its product range in India. Some of the upcoming motorcycles are expected to be rebadged versions of Benda models, similar to the Keeway V302C currently available in the country.
Meanwhile, Moto Morini is also set to receive at least one new motorcycle. Although the company has not officially confirmed the model, industry speculation suggests that the Moto Morini Alltrhike 450 could be a strong contender for the Indian market. The adventure bike shares its engine and chassis platform with the CFMoto 450 series. Since CFMoto’s return to India remains on hold, the Alltrhike 450 could emerge as an attractive alternative in the segment.
Launch Timeline Yet to Be Announced
While AARI has confirmed its plans to expand the Benelli, Keeway, and Moto Morini portfolios, it has not announced a launch timeline for the upcoming Keeway and Moto Morini models. More details are expected in the coming months as the homologation process progresses and product development moves forward.
