BMW Group India has made an important announcement for its customers, confirming that prices across its BMW and MINI vehicle lineup will increase by up to 2 percent from July 1, 2026. The revised pricing will apply to both locally manufactured models and fully imported Completely Built-Up (CBU) vehicles. According to the company, the decision has been driven by the depreciation of the Indian rupee and rising logistics costs.
The price increase will affect several popular BMW models sold in India, including the locally assembled BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, and X1. Imported models such as the M4, M5, and i7 will also become more expensive. In addition, MINI’s Cooper and Countryman range will be subject to the same price revision.
BMW India Financial Services has assured customers that it will continue offering a variety of financing and ownership programs to help reduce the impact of the higher vehicle prices.
BMW Raises Prices for the Second Time in 2026
This marks BMW Group India’s second price increase in 2026. Earlier this year, the company announced a similar revision in March, which came into effect on April 1, 2026. At the time, BMW cited rising production costs, higher transportation expenses, and fluctuations in foreign exchange rates as the primary reasons behind the increase.
Luxury car manufacturers are particularly vulnerable to currency fluctuations because they rely heavily on imported components and fully imported vehicles. With operational and logistics costs continuing to rise, several premium automobile brands have adjusted their pricing strategies in recent months.
