Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hand over more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates during the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela. The event will be conducted virtually across multiple locations nationwide as part of the Central Government’s ongoing recruitment initiative.

The Rozgar Mela has emerged as a major government initiative aimed at speeding up recruitment processes and filling vacancies across various departments and organizations. According to officials, appointments will be made across key sectors and departments including Railways, Home Affairs, Postal Services, Health Services, and Financial Institutions.

As per official information, appointment letters will be issued to selected candidates through a fully transparent recruitment process for various government positions. The government also stated that nearly 12 lakh appointment letters have already been distributed through the previous 18 Rozgar Melas conducted across the country.

The newly appointed candidates are expected to contribute to administrative and public service functions across India. Officials noted that the initiative is designed not only to strengthen government institutions but also to create more employment opportunities for young people.

An official statement released ahead of the event said that Rozgar Mela is an important initiative toward giving employment generation the highest priority.

This recruitment drive comes at a time when employment and government hiring continue to remain major areas of focus across the country. States including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have also recently announced fresh hiring plans to fill vacancies in public departments.

Experts believe that large-scale recruitment drives continue to attract strong attention from job aspirants, especially at a time when competition for government jobs is increasing steadily. This is one of the reasons why recruitment announcements and appointment-related updates continue to generate significant interest among young people across India.
