Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Capsule black edition SUV with hybrid powertrain and premium sporty design

Lamborghini has once again raised the bar for what a luxury Super SUV can be. At the 2026 Milano Design Week, Automobili Lamborghini officially unveiled the Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Capsule — a strictly limited-edition version of its hybrid Super SUV, restricted to just 630 units worldwide. With the widest range of colour combinations ever offered on a Lamborghini Capsule, over 70 possible configurations, and a 800 CV plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Tettonero Capsule positions itself as the most exclusive and most personalised Urus ever built.

What is the Tettonero Capsule?

The term “Tettonero,” meaning “black roof” in Italian, immediately gives an indication of what the aesthetic of the vehicle will be like. Based on the Urus SE platform, the first plug-in hybrid Super SUV by Lamborghini, the Tettonero Capsule is raised to a whole new level of unique customisation.
Designed together by Lamborghini Centro Stile and Lamborghini’s own bespoke customisation studio – Ad Personam (which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year) – the Capsule has an additional significance for the brand because it also marks the 20th anniversary of its improved bespoke programme.
The unveiling event was truly something else. Organised in collaboration with the Milan-based design centre Magma – which features Lamborghini-inspired elements and aesthetics in its industrial spaces – the audience was led through a sensory journey of lighting, textures, and compositions until two vehicles of the Tettonero Capsule range emerged from the shadows: one painted in Viola Pasifae and the other in Verde Mercurius. The meal that followed was designed specially by Chef Enrico Croatti who drew inspiration from the colours of the Capsule. However, the event was more memorable than the usual car launches as the two cars were showcased within a multi-sensory experience of lights, materials, and spaces before their unveiling in Milan, at MAGMA, which was transformed into a space inspired by Lamborghini’s own visual language. Following the two-car unveiling, there was a special gastronomical experience that featured dishes prepared using Michelin-starred chef Enrico Croatti. Only Lamborghini would be able to turn a simple car launch into an artistic performance.

Exterior Design: A Canvas of Unique Personalization

The most notable part about the new Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Capsule is its incredible level of personalization, which gave it a very unique look. This is because the term “Tettonero” describes the distinctive Nero Shiny (glossy black) finish, which is applied to the top half of the vehicle body – roof, pillars, rear tailgate profile, and exhausts. There are six available body colours to choose from, namely Arancio Xanto, Bianco Asopo, Grigio Telesto, and Viola Pasifae, complemented by the first-ever Giallo Tenerife and Verde Mercurius available on the Urus model. Each one of these six base colours is compatible with the glossy black upper body part in order to create the unique Tettonero look.
In addition to these body colours, customers have another six livery colours to choose from. These are Arancio Borealis, Bianco Monocerus, Giallo Auge, Grigio Nimbus, Rosso Mars, and Verde Mantis. The livery accents come in the form of colours for the lower body panel, mirror caps, and underneath the roofline of the car, resulting in an elaborate combination of colours ensuring that no two Tettonero Capsules have the same look.
The exterior of this car also features six different brake caliper colours, two wheel sizes – 21- and 23-inch rims – carbon fibre accessories such as the front bumper, mirror caps, and rear diffuser. In addition to all of this, there is a special “63” emblem located below the front door panels, which signifies the year in which the Lamborghini marque was founded. In total, the exterior can be configured in over 70 ways.

Interior: Dark Luxe with Bold Contrasts

Inside, the Tettonero Capsule embraces the principle of darkness first. Nero Ade, a combination of Dinamica leather and Corsa-Tex microfiber, becomes the dominating theme of the capsule’s interior. It offers a high-performance feel with the luxurious look of Italian craftsmanship.
To contrast the dominant darkness, there are six possible accent colours available for interior appointments, such as roof lining, headrests, door panels, and carpets: Viola Acutus, Bianco Leda, Giallo Quercus, Arancio Dryope, Verde Viper, and Grigio Octans. All of these colours match the exterior liveries to ensure visual unity across the entire capsule. Buyers have 12 additional colours at their disposal for seat embroidery, headrests, and upholstery. Carbon fiber trim elements abound throughout the capsule, with a custom carbon fiber plate honouring the 10-year anniversary of the Ad Personam Studio as a collectors’ item. An exclusive Urus badge is printed on the dashboard in front of the passenger’s side.

Performance: 800 CV Hybrid Powertrain

Under the distinctive bodywork of the car is the powertrain that makes it truly performative. It is represented by a combination of a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine and permanent magnet synchronous electric motor equipped with a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery located under the load floor.
The combined power and torque are impressive, reaching 800 CV (588 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 950 Nm from 1,750 rpm. It translates into breathtaking performance figures: 0 to 100 km/h achieved in 3.4 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds, and a maximum speed of 312 km/h. The power-to-weight ratio equals a phenomenal 3.13 kg/CV.
A distinguishing feature of the car is versatility ensured by a hybrid configuration: the electric motor positioned ahead of the new 8-speed automatic transmission operates independently or in combination with the combustion engine, thus allowing pure electric all-wheel drive with more than 60 km range. At that, torque distribution between the front and rear wheels is continuous with the help of a centrally positioned electronically controlled torque splitter coupled with an electro-hydraulic multi-plate clutch. The electronically controlled limited slip rear differential allows “oversteer on demand,” according to Lamborghini.

Pirelli P Zero tyres equipped with Pirelli Elect technology are fitted in all four wheels, designed with consideration for the specific requirements of an electrified performance SUV.

Lamborghini’s Hybrid Future

The Urus SE Tettonero Capsule is not an isolated product from Lamborghini. Rather, it is part of the company’s “Direzione Cor Tauri” programme, through which Lamborghini became the first brand in the super sports car category to launch its entire range as fully hybridised – Revuelto (V12 HPEV), Urus SE (PHEV), and Temerario (twin-turbo V8 hybrid). Lamborghini also mentions that around 96% of its vehicles are currently equipped with at least one Ad Personam personalisation option.

Conclusion: An Exceptional Lamborghini Super SUV for Collectors

Limited to just 630 pieces worldwide, the Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Capsule is more than just a vehicle; it is an expression of individuality. The Tettonero Capsule is the perfect choice for those looking for a Lamborghini that is entirely theirs: exceptional hybrid driving dynamics, unparalleled personalization opportunities, and the uniqueness of owning less than 630 pieces in existence.
Lamborghini has set a new benchmark in the realm of luxury Super SUVs.
